MITSU AB SUTURE - Polyglactin 910 Suture with Triclosan
MITSU AB minimises risk of suture-induced surgical site infections by inhibiting colonisation of pathogens. MITSU AB is a mid-term absorbable braided synthetic suture made of poly(glycolide-co-l-lactide) (90/10) coated with Triclosan, an antibacterial agent. It degrades by hydrolysis and assures predictable and reliable absorption.
This antibacterial suture is your perfect choice to reduce risk of suture induced SSI:
- Mid-term absorbable Synthetic Braided Suture with antibacterial agent
- Inhibits colonisation of pathogens associated with Surgical Site Infection (SSI)
Indication:
- Used for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation across suitable surgery types.
Properties:
- Retains 75% knot tensile strength for up to 14 days
- Retains 50% knot tensile strength for up to 21 days
- Complete mass absorption within 56 to 70 days
