Back in 2004, an unexpected conversation with a respected business advisor arose which inspired us to broaden our horizons and branch out from our farming roots. After setting foot back in the Garden of England, the planning began. Drawing from our family background in medical pharmaceuticals and agriculture, Pioneer was formed.
We are now a multi-skilled team working together with the same purpose, passion and values. Our office is a spacious new barn conversion, surrounded by fields filled with our sheep as we are situated on a working farm. We look forward to lambing season each year and love it when the farm dogs are around for a bit of a fuss!

One of the company founders, Clive is responsible for the overall business and enjoys looking at ways to increase efficiency and customer service levels.
Jason invested in Pioneer in April 2020 and has helped in leading the business through its next stage of growth. With a successful career in sales and management he has given support to the wider team in an ever-growing industry.
An experienced Marketing Manager, Vicky is ideas-driven and has an extensive background in animal health. Having recently completed her Mini MBA in Marketing, she brings a wealth of knowledge into the Marketing Team and wider business.
Emily is a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse, Small Animal Hydrotherapist and Veterinary Physiotherapist with a passion for education and promoting health and welfare through the use of modern day research based skills and technology.
Joel brings a fresh blend of enthusiasm and energy to Pioneer. With high integrity being his key attribute, coupled with his proactive hands on approach, this gives him the edge to understanding the veterinary sector
Leon is a dedicated support to business growth at Pioneer, with an eager eye for going the extra mile you can always count on his attention to detail.
Becky has a passion for delivering exceptional service. With extensive experience in customer service and sales. Becky is always on hand to offer support to our customers.
As a registered veterinary nurse, Laura is an understanding account manager and additionally offers bespoke support and guidance as our in-house wound product advisor.
Always helpful and cheerful, Katie is likely the person you’ll speak to most when you call us. She’s the friendly voice on the end of the phone, here to support with ordering and any queries you might have.
With a positive outlook and a friendly smile, Emma is always willing to help out in any situation. She is passionate about customer service and goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
Happy and eager to learn, Ottilie is doing her Customer Service apprenticeship with us at Pioneer. With her day-to-day responsibilities she aims to achieve the best in customer support.
Alice is part of our marketing team, working behind-the-scenes on a wide variety of marketing tasks - from creation of our e-communications, to website maintenance and event attendance.
Millend achieved his degree in BSc (Hons) Business Management with Marketing and has recently completed a Performance Marketing intern for The Walt Disney Company in London. He has a passion for data analytics, consumer behaviour and digital campaigns, making sure that our customers have a great online ordering experience.
Hayley is a highly effective relationship builder and strong communicator who thrives on interacting with new leads. Her warm personality and motivation to onboard new customers successfully, is admirable.
Dave is driven by efficiency and productivity, ensuring processes are run smoothly, whilst keeping a close watch on our long-term supply chain stability.
Marianne is enthusiastic about maintaining our stock and service levels to a high standard and easily adapts to challenges, with the added responsibility of Health & Safety and other Compliance.

Diane has a background of accountancy and auditing, so the combination of her accuracy and eye for detail, keeps us all on our toes and ensures the finances are running smoothly.
Stuart has over 25 years of IT industry experience. Having worked for large blue-chip organisations and recently a national charity. He has a passion for IT security and business efficiency, to help give Pioneer the foundations to grow.
Alex leads from the front, inspiring the team and tracking the company customer experience measures to ensure orders are processed and shipped on time. He also analyses our packaging materials to ensure these are sustainable as possible.
Rai’s good-humour and precision, result in the efficient and accurate despatch of orders.
Brian’s attention to detail makes him excellent with goods in. He ensures everything is packaged correctly and ready for picking – making the despatch process easier.

We regularly review our suppliers to ensure products are from ethical sources with a lower carbon footprint.
Over 80% of our waste is recycled.
Our staff car-share where possible.
Our premises are fitted with energy saving light bulbs and sensor lighting to minimise energy usage.
We encourage electronic invoicing and statements with our customers and suppliers.
92% of our customers currently receive invoices by email.
We create resources and guides to help our customers assess their procedures as well as promoting our eco-friendly products.
Electronic distribution of these resources is encouraged to reduce unnecessary paper waste.
Our catalogue is printed on FSC certified paper which ensures it is environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.
