Both the ISO Microchips - 1.4mm x 8mm and 1.4mm x 10mm are suitable for all dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals. They are mini microchips that are implanted with a gun-style implant device and are suitable for animals that will not exceed 15kg in body weight when fully grown. We offer microchips with registrations to two databases, Animal Tracker and Petlog: - The Animal Tracker database is fully compliant with current legislation relating to registration and record-keeping. Animal Tracker also operates a 24-hour telephone number for lost and found animals which is manned 365 days a year. All of the microchip registrations include Scanner Angel integration, which sends an animal's microchip number to its network of scanners alerting the operator if your lost patient is found and scanned.
- Petlog is a service that helps you microchip and register your patient, as well as keeping your contact details up to date. Your patient's microchip contains a unique number, which is matched on Petlog's database. Then both you and your patient's details are recorded with Petlog.
These needles are pre-loaded with our super small chip. They must be used with the Mini Implant Gun and CANNOT be used with any other implant device.
The microchips are made from biocompatible glass and manufactured in the EU with 100% quality control. This high-quality microchip is delivered with a Parylene coating - an anti-migration treatment that stabilises the position of the microchip under the animal’s skin. Each package is sterilised, sealed and marked with an indicator confirming successful sterilisation. FAQs
