Product Description
Echoplex+ is a needle for plexus blocks and peripheral nerve blocks allowing to locate the plexus or nerve either under ULTRASOUND or with ELECTRO-NEURO-STIMULATION. Key Features:
  • Needle with a 20° bevel with an insulating coating on its entire length, only the tip of the bevel is conductive. This coating includes multiple microscopic glass beads intensifying ultrasound reflection and making Echoplex+ echogenic right to the tip of the needle.
  • Available in 7 lengths (from 25mm to 150mm).
  • Markings over the entire length of the needle allows to control at any time the length inserted.
  • A broader mark indicates 5cm and a double mark indicates 10cm.
  • Echoplex+ comprises of an electrical cord (60cm long) with a female connector and a removable transparent extension tube (50cm long) to allow injection of the local anaesthetic.
  • Ergonomic hub allowing a good hold.
  • Transparency makes it possible to quickly detect a possible reflux of blood during the aspiration test. For use with Plexygon Nerve stimulator.

Very Impressed

We trialled some Meril suture materials for a two week period and were very impressed overall. The Filapron (monocryl equivalent) and Mitsu (vicryl equivalent) both handle well and provide good knot security. The needles cut easily through tissue and are impressively resilient when bent, allowing re-bending to their original shape without snapping. I now happily use them on a regular basis.

Meril sutures are excellent quality, and we would happily switch from our go to brand which is Ethicon! The packaging is like for like which makes switching simple. You don’t have to worry about different codes or pack colours. The sutures have reduced memory when you remove them from their packaging, so we’re delighted with this as it makes handling easier. Meril sutures are the way forward and one that we’ll be stocking from now on.”
