In general Gosset abdominal retractors are used to actively separate the edges of a surgical incision in the abdomen. Abdominal retractors are self retaining; they hold back underlying organs and tissues, so that body parts under the incision may be accessed. Ideal for Laparotomies as well as being useful as a rib retractor for thoracic surgery. Available with small or large blades. Dimensions: Small - 45 x 188 x 170mm Large - 75 x 188 x 180mm
