Polyurethane feeding tubes for medium-term use (up to 4 weeks)

• For nasogastric or oesophageal placement
• Polyurethane tubing softens after insertion to improve patient comfort and reduce trauma
• Numbered graduations aid the placement and monitoring of the tubes
• The rounded tip also provides atraumatic insertion
• Radiopaque
• 2 x lateral eyes
• Colour coded caps for easy identification of gauge size
• Can only be used with Nutrisafe syringes

ABOUT NUTRISAFE FEEDING SYSTEM

Nutrisafe is an enteral feeding system with a unique connection system to reduce the risk of misconnections. It has been designed to improve the safety of enteral feeding through incompatiblility with the standard luer system.

• Safe - Specifically adapted feeding tubes, syringes and other accessories will only connect to other Nutrisafe devices
• Risk reduction - Allows the user to differentiate between luer locks on chest drains, IV cannulae and feeding tubes
• Secure - Lockable system provides security so accidental disconnection is virtually impossible. Disconnect by simply unscrewing the device
• Confident - Purple hubs and size related colour coded caps for easy recognition and size identification
