VetSet - ChlorVet Scrub 4% Chlorhexidine - 5 Litre

Contains 4% chlorhexidine gluconate. For use in hand washing, as a surgical scrub or as a hand disinfectant post or pre-operative. Widely used in veterinary medicine, and helps prevent infections by killing germs on the skin.

How to use 4% Chlorhexidine (VetSet ChlorVet Scrub)

Pre-operative cleaning of personnel and operating theatre:

1. Wet hands and forearms with water
2. Pour 5ml onto hands and distribute over hands and forearms
3. Without using water, rub the whole area for 1 minute using a scrub brush
4. Deeply clean under the nails
5. Add a little water to develop into an abundant foam
6. Rinse thoroughly with water
7. Apply a further 5ml and continue washing for 2 minutes
8. Rinse and dry

Pre-operative use on patient:

1. Shave patients body where to be treated
2. Wet area with water
3. Apply ChlorVet Scrub 4% Chlorhexidine (1 part VetSet ChlorVet Scrub to 4 parts warm water)
4. Massage for a minimum of 5 minutes
5. Remove product with sterilised gauze (use water if necessary)
