Save cost and time - the self-seal adhesive strip system avoids the costs of purchasing and validating heat seal equipment. Every size has dual colour indicator arrows that change when steam (autoclave) processed, eliminating the need for separate indicator tape.
HOW IT WORKS
The steam autoclave process indicators operate on chemical changes occurring when the indicator is subjected to both heat and moisture. The colour change is normally from a light pink to a medium/dark brown. The indicator colour may vary in intensity depending on the amount of ink printed. This variation is a natural part of the printing process. A correctly processed indicator will show a noticeable change.
Please note: the indicator changes colour when exposed to the elements of the sterilisation cycle. The colour change does not indicate that the contents of the package are sterile, nor does any slight variation in colour change reflect on the efficiency of the sterilisation process.
