The Kitty and Kanine Kollar was designed to be a sensible solution to the everyday patient management of an oesophagostomy tube (sometimes referred to as an 'E-tube') in cats and dogs. The adjustable collar fits securely around the animal’s neck, with a hole for the tube and a Velcro™ strap to secure it when it is not in use. Circular cotton pads are supplied to place between the collar and the skin, protecting the wound to absorb drainage from below and protect from contaminants from above. Note: Long-haired breeds may need to go up a size Sizing:
XS - WEIGHT RANGE 4-7lbs, NECK SIZE 4-7" (recommended for: kittens and toy dogs such as Chihuahua, Yorkie)
S - WEIGHT RANGE 10-16lbs, NECK SIZE 10-12" (recommended for: cats and small dogs such as Lhasa, Peke, Small Terriers)
M - WEIGHT RANGE 14-50lbs, NECK SIZE 12-16" (recommended for: dogs such as Doberman and Greyhound)
L - WEIGHT RANGE 55-90lbs, NECK SIZE 17-19" (recommended for: large-medium dog breeds such as Labrador, Blood Hound, Chow and Shepherd)
