Vadsite Needle-Free Valve

A multi-purpose catheter accessory. Vadsite is a closed needleless IV system permitting blood sampling, intermittent injection or continuous infusion of fluids or medications.

It can be connected to all intravenous devices comprising a female luer lock hub (catheters, stopcocks, extension tubes, Huber needles used with implantable ports etc.).

It is a needleless access device which prevents needlestick injuries, the risk of air embolism or blood loss. The device automatically closes when the infusion line or syringe has been disconnected.

With Vadsite, it is possible to connect all intravenous devices comprising a male luer or male luer lock end (syringes, infusion sets etc.). Vadsite is resistant to lipids and most disinfecting agents used in hospitals.

It is approved for use with power injectors.
