The set includes a 17cm PVC tubing with a 1.5ml capacity, which is perfect for delivering small amounts of medication accurately. Add length to existing infusion tubing, with this flexible and safe polyethylene-lined PVC extension line. This Intravenous (IV) extension line has a capped male Luer lock at one end, and a capped female Luer lock at the other. Extension sets are connected to IV catheters to allow a larger distance between the patient and the fluid being administered. The internal layer in polyethylene means there is no plasticizer leaching from the PVC material. Moreover, due to the compatibility of Polyethylene with most drugs, adverse effects such as adsorption/absorption are greatly reduced.
